That one doesn't interest me either. Had Tina Fey written it, sure, but I don't recognize the writer and the trailers are incredibly unfunny (with the exception of "That's gonna cost extr... not happening").

I'm definitely gonna see this- only the unique "living cartoon" approach they took could have made this a viable property to turn into a feature film, and it'll be worth watching on that merit alone.
However, they've put out waay too many trailers for this thing- it's had like, at least 6, counting international trailers.

No. I liked the cartoon as a kid (it wasn't my favorite), but this movie looks stupid.

If anything, thus movie looks too flashy. I've never been into Speed Racer to begin with, so this is probably a no, unless I start hearing outstanding things about it.

People have been clamoring for this for years, and now that we have it -- and it looks exactly like the animated show, only in live action -- people are aying it looks "cheesy" and "flashy". I hesitate to use the eye-rolling emoticon, but sheesh. Sometimes ya just can't win.

Truer words were never spoken. Or in this case, written.

I have no intention of missing this.... I have been waiting for this all spring. Though I might have to go alone as my movie partner keeps giving me dirty looks when I mention even the name Speed Racer of late.
