No. Can't stand Cameron Diaz. I don't understand her appeal, she's not attractive at all, never found her very funny. The main thing I think every time I see and ad for this is: "Poor Rob Cordry."

I would never watch a movie that starred Ashton "I don't know how to act and I'm totally full of myself" Kutcher.
At one time this bozo was being considered to play Bruce Wayne/Batman in BATMAN BEGINS. Can you imagine what THAT would have been like?

For this type of comedy, it doesn't look all that terrible. Compare it to whatever that one was with Jennifer Aniston a year or two ago, and this one looks at least remotely funny. Then again, it could just be that using "War" in a trailer just makes anything look inheritantly better.
Kutcher doesn't bother me- he was good in Butterfly Effect, and can play a douche pretty well, as this movie seems to need him to be. And Diaz- well, she's still kinda hot, but she's on the edge now.

These movie went from me not thinking it was funny to hating it when I heard the line "I sentence you to *blah* months hard marriage" from a judge. It was one of those "What was the screenwriter smoking?" moments.

I agree with that- that line did make me cringe. If not even Dennis Miller can save it, it's gotta be bad...

Synopsis: "The characters of C.S. Lewis's timeless fantasy come to life once again in this newest installment of the "Chronicles of Narnia" series, in which the Pevensie siblings are magically transported back from England to the world of Narnia, where a thrilling, perilous new adventure and an even greater test of their faith and courage awaits them. One year after the incredible events of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," the Kings and Queens of Narnia find themselves back in that faraway wondrous realm, only to discover that more than 1300 years have passed in Narnian time. The four children will soon meet an intriguing new character: Narnia's rightful heir to the throne, the young Prince Caspian, who has been forced into hiding as his uncle Miraz plots to kill him in order to place his own newborn son on the throne. With the help of the kindly dwarf, a courageous talking mouse named Reepicheep, a badger named Trufflehunter and a Black Dwarf, Nikabrik, the Narnians, led by the mighty knights Peter and Caspian, embark on a remarkable journey to find Aslan, rescue Narnia from Miraz's tyrannical hold, and restore magic and glory to the land. I'm hoping this one can fulfill the promise of the first movie, which wasn't bad, but felt like we had gotten an edited-for-tv version. An extra 15 minutes expanding on the supporting characters more would have done wonders for TLTW&TW.

I've read some of the books, and for the ones I didn't read I saw the bbc movies. One thing to note:
These movies tend to bring in more audiences than we expect. Certain people, who don't know any better, would just absolutely love it if they can see the chronic(les) on the big screen.

The worldwide audience for the first one was pretty big. $750 million or so worldwide. If the second one does better, that will be a bit of a surprise, but not unprecedented. The book isn't nearly as popular or well known as the first. The apparently darker tone of the sequel and focus on the fantasy warfare on the other hand may pull in a slightly older audience looking for something that will remind them of the epic battle sequences from the Lord of the Rings films.
It's something to go see while you're waiting on "The Hobbit."

The first one was alright, a little kiddy but good battle scenes. This one looks better, I'll give it a shot.
