The ending disturbed me on several levels. And the fact they showed the preview for next week right after that made the shock a million times worse.

Yeah, this was a great episode. The Cuddy sequence was tantalizing and I thought that the whole tenor of the episode hit the right notes. I wonder what the nature of House's and Amber's relationship is. I am very interested in next week. It looks brilliant.

I've been grinning like an idiot since the half-way point, and that ending damn near dislocated my jaw. And Cuddy's dance was pretty good too.

Woah great episode, reminds me a bit of those Star Trek episode where a character is in a coma, has to solve something in order to get out.

Well, that was certainly...unexpected. Looks like they're really aiming to outdo themselves for the season finale.

LilyHobbitJedi posted: Oh my...*takes several deep breathes* Tonights episode was just as crazy and suspenseful as many Lost episodes.
I kinda guessed that it was Amber, when the girl showed her necklace the first time. But wow, so Amber was in the crash with House and was pierced with House's cane of all things. Next week definitely looks just as crazy what with Amber/House possibly having an affair, and House nearly dying (again). I think it will take the whole week to get over tonight's shock.
It happened fast but I thought the thing that impaled her was silver, I figured one of the metal hand rails on the bus. At least that's what it looked like to me. Interesting to note is that when they were going over the patients at the beginning, someone had a severed right foot. And since Amber's injury was higher up,hopefully House saved the leg.
This certainly explains why Amber was at the bar at the beginning though.
As to why she was on the bus:
1) She could run into House at the bar, he noticed she was exhibiting a symptom and they both get on the bus.
2) She could have met him at the bar for some Wilson related reason and noting House was drunk, put him on the bus.
3) Variations of 1 and 2
I don't think they had any type of affair. House may have cheated on others, but I doubt he'd ever do it to Wilson.

Both of these episodes were wonderfully written and acted.
RIP Amber "CB"
I just knew that the reason she was on the bus was something like that. Houes would never hurt Wilson intentionally. It's a tragic irony that he ended up doing just that. I really doubt their friendship will ever recover. I REALLY can't believe they killed her off. She was great in that role. She and Stacey were two characters whose occasional cameos could really help the show. I think it was a mistake to just wipe both of them away so fast.
Really shocking that 13 has Huntingtons. Are they going to kill her off and have Cameron return? (Since CB is dead now and Cameron admitted to missing the puzzles).
Lastly, I assume that Cuddy + House will happen next season and House will feel a mix off happiness and pain whenever Wilson is around. And Wilson will feel loss and jealousy. Which should be a sad, but interesting dynamic.

Absolutely! I'm so nervous about what will happen with House and Wilson's friendship now that they have guilt between them. But I know that they can't stop being friends because that would be a horrible move for the show. I'm curious to see what House does to try and apologize.
I too hope that Cuddy/House will happen soon, because I've felt these two were perfect for each other long ago. And I was saddened to see that Thirteen is positive for Huntington's, and horrified to hear about what happened to Kutner's parents.
The whole episode I wanted to hug Wilson, he made my heart break. And I felt bad for House knowing that he had inadvertantly caused his friend to hate him. And I hope he'll finally rest long enough for his head to heal. It was also touching to see how House's team came to comfort Amber before she went. R.I.P. Amber
I've heard that season 5 will delve into House's past, and we might hear/see something on Wilson's long lost brother. I can't wait for it to begin!

13 has Huntington's, Wilson is an emotional train wreck, and it looks like Cuddy is going to become House's second serious girlfriend on the show...what a way to end the season!
This was honestly the most touching episode I've ever seen. I hope they don't overuse House's subconcious or make it a gimmick.

Yeah, these past two episodes have made me a believer in House as a television show. Excellent episodes overall. They were powerful and I think they will cause some character development with House in the seasons ahead.
