I had the same with the new James Bond trailer.  The internet hates me  I have to say showing House fans scenes from Blackadder the third and goes forth is always amusing.

I'm American and a HUGE fan of ABOFAL, Blackadder, and Jeeves and Wooster. All three are such excellent shows and I find it so cool to see how Hugh went from such hilariously comedic roles to something so dramatic as House.
I would put the video on youtube, but I can't get it to download on my computer. Hopefully soon somebody else will figure out how.

I really appreciate people like you. It irritates me to no end when I see a comment at a video from one of these shows and some ignorant American git posts "lol its house". I'm always on verge of shouting "It's Hugh Laurie, you moron!" Or the other day I stumbled upon someone complaining about his "fake British accent".

Yeah, I know what you mean! One of the last places I worked at there was this girl who was a House fan like me, and she was talking about how funny House was. I was like "If you think he's funny as House, them you should see him in Blackadder," and she gave me a strange look.
There was also the time when my mom (watches House) walked in my room when I was watching ABOFAL, and she said "Who's that?" (pointing at Hugh) When I told her it was Hugh Laurie who plays House she didn't believe it.

They should start broadcasting Blackadder and ABOFAL in USA before Season 5 of House. That would be a bit of a nasty shock to all the newbie Hugh Laurie fans who only know him as House and are completely ignorant of his rich British comic background.

I would LOVE that, and to tell the truth I've been hunting for it on the BBC channel I have. Unfortunately I've never found it. I'm just grateful there are some wonderful people who post seasons of those great shows on YouTube to fill in the blanks of the seasons I don't own. Though I do have to agree it would shock most of my fellow unassuming Americans.

This nice generous person has posted all episodes from Blackadder, Blackadder II, Blackadder the Third and Blackadder Goes Forth on YouTube. Although it's a pity that he didn't include "Hugh Laurie" in the keywords, it would draw a larger audience to this brilliantly witty and incredibly funny show.
I've also found the Blackadder: The Cavalier Years special on YouTube, but not Blackadder's Christmas Carol (though I'm downloading that one via BitTorrent, and I'll upload it on YouTube when I have it  ).

Awesome! I've been wanting to see the Christmas Carol because it's the only Blackadder thing I can't find. If only their seasons would've been as long as American ones... At the moment I'm trying to get my best friend to become a Blackadder fan, but I don't think she gets it...yet. 
And speaking of BitTorrents, I never can get them to fully download on my computer no matter how many times I've fought with different programs on my computer.

I still think Stephen Fry ought to do a story arc on House. He could play a brilliant doctor who is happy about everything all the time, just to give House a foil for a few shows. Make it so both of them need to work together to solve the case in the end or something
