I still think Stephen Fry ought to do a story arc on House. He could play a brilliant doctor who is happy about everything all the time, just to give House a foil for a few shows. Make it so both of them need to work together to solve the case in the end or something
That would be hilarious!  I think they already tried to have Stephen appear on House, but apparently they had problems coordinating their work schedules. And I don't care if it's just for one episode, but you HAVE to have Stephen Fry on House. I really really really hope they'll manage it in Season 5.

Oh, goody. I tried searching for it earlier and got my laptop infected with a virus. 
The promo trailer looks very promising. Wilson resigning is going to be a major thing. I can't imagine House working properly as a human being without being in contact with Wilson.

I know what you mean, waiting for September is going to take forever. Though I did find out that the season 4 dvd is coming out on August 17th! 
About Wilson resigning I totally agree with you that House might slightly go mad without Wilson there, but I think it does look like they are still friends. I can't imagine that Wilson would be away from PPTH for too long.

Yeah, even if he does quit, he probably won't stay away long (it might be a several episodes long story arc). And House might do something to bring him back, like another suicide attempt. That would be just like him, wouldn't it?

Isn't that the truth!  I bet it will be a long arc, because they just love messing with our minds. I can see House harassing whoever ends up taking Wilson's old office, stuff like that.
And I just saw a little tv spot the other day showing little clips of them filming, and it said that season 5 was in production. I about jumped for joy.

I don't see Wilson resigning as a permanent thing - I suspect that it's going to drive the first major story arc.
There's also some rumours that there'll be another detective in the show, something that FOX is going to try and spin off into it's own show.

I dunno, I have a bad feeling about this... The Tritter arc wasn't that good, you'd think they'd learned their lesson - and a spin-off show of another show? That sounds very cheap.
I do hope that House will continue to maintain its high quality and won't degenerate into another cheap pseudodrama. I'd prefer if it stopped at its height rather being forced to do so because it started to suck.

I too hope there's not another Tritter in the making. That was definitely a mistake from the very beginning. Do we have to endure another cop getting after House for his drug addiction? It's getting old.

Also, while waiting for Season 5, it's definitely worth checking out Fortysomething. It's a 6-episode comedy series made for ITV in 2003 and starring Hugh (also the first three episodes were directed by him). It's really funny, but in a different way than ABOFAL or Blackadder (for one thing, there's no laughing track, which is great, since it wasn't shot in front of an audience). Hugh plays a guy called Paul Slippery, a doctor (but VERY unlike House!) who has been married for 20 years and has three sons, can't remember when he last had sex, occasionally hears voices in his head, and is slightly paranoid about his wife having an affair or people conspiring against him. Great cast, great music, and a very nice insight into the relationships (Paul's family is pretty weird). There are some hilarious situations, some that are downright bizarre, and quite a few really touching moments (especially in the last episode). Oh yeah, and we get to see Hugh naked, wearing a burka, and impersonating a chicken. Oh, and Stephen Fry makes a cameo appearance.
