"World of Pain" is extremely underrated. "Dance the Night Away" has a great use of twelve-string guitar; and "Take It Back" is interesting if for nothing but its antiwar message, because Cream wasn't really known for their political stance. wink

I also find "Mother's Lament" hilarious.

Glancing at the list tonight, I found I'd missed one. Doubtful that anyone's heard it, but I'll go back and hit it anyway.

8. Bossa na Praia
9. My Foolish Heart
10. Dia Dos Rosas
11. You Didn't Have to Be So Nice
12. Nao Bate O Corocao

Never heard this one.

Me, either. Strange collection of songs, but I'm betting the good stuff is Latin.

Never heard this one. Wonder why this qualifies as a 'must hear'?

Very interesting album. I'd best describe it as Beatle-esque melodies mixed with the signature Floyd psychadelic edge. My favorite tracks Scarecrow and Flaming.

Uber album. Possibly my third favourite Floyd album after Wish You Were Here and The Wall. Best track is Interstellar Overdrive, though many people find it annoying and weird due to its psychedelic improvised style. Also good - Pow.R Toc.H, The Gnome, and Bike (which has the funniest lyrics ever, imo tongue )

Pink Floyd is one of my favoritest bands ever, but I have to say I couldn't stand this album.

It's definitely not your overplayed-on-the-classic-rock-stations '70s Pink Floyd, but the album has a lot of strong songs. "Space rock" was born here. An excellent piece of late 60s psychedelia.

Easily one of my favorite Floyd albums. I love the Barrett era, up until Dark Side and then the rest is just 'meh' for me.

The band I used to be in covered and rocked the hell out of Lucifer Sam. I love that song.

Don't like it. 'A Saucerful of Secrets' is better than this imo.

Sell Out (1967) - The Who

Tracks:

1. Armenia City in the Sky
2. Heinz Baked Beans
3. Mary-Anne With the Shaky Hand
4. Odorono
5. Tatoo
6. Our Love Was
7. I Can See For Miles
8. I Can't Reach You
9. Medac
10. Relax
11. Silas Stingy
12. Sunrise
13. Rael 1

Unrelated songs divided by faux commercials for various products; kicked off several lawsuits, due to real products being used on the cover and in the song lyrics and the fake commercials.

Haven't heard this one; but a great concept.

This one is okay. Their best was definitely still to come.

I like I Can See For Miles, pretty well.
