oh. but i'm in englasnd, how can i be under dubaian (?) jurisdiction?
i'm not sure it'll work out anyway and that i really want to work there. i'm not sure full time reservations agent is the way to go.

nonono not any time soon. the soonest would be after a year of service and it'd be through an application meaning it's not guaranteed, just something they talked about as a possible career. like, opportunities and such.
they used to base all their cabin crew there, not sure this is the case anymore, but as call center europe staff it'd be a bit silly if we all relocated. also, i've heard they've got lots of desert there which sounds like it's hot and hostile to life.

We had a stream of air from the Sahara here a few weeks ago, rather warm, obviously, but this bizarre haze along with it, almost like smog. Apparently, it was caused by sand particles in the air. For the briefest moment, I almost empathized with the wife-choking child-killer.

well, yeah, with any luck it'll be that... emirates just turned me down. apparently i wasn't up to their standards or something, whatever that means. i think i was a bit too honest and i couldn't come up with anything that illustrated my initiative. i'm not sure i have a thing called initiative.
hey, i could have talked about a thread i started!
