"Prison Break"
"New setting (Panama City never looked so ghastly), new prison (Sona makes Fox River look like the Four Seasons), and new problems: It's simply impossible to believe that Michael (Wentworth Miller) would land in jail again along with all his archenemies, including Mahone (William Fichtner - always good). Plus, a newish conspiracy plotline seems like a ploy to extend a show that should have gone out after two terrific seasons. Tough Break." C+ ? Henry Goldblatt

Well, get ready to intrigue that inner cynic with this year's twist, as they're throwing one "hot" dude and one ''geeky'' girl in to spice things up. "Break out the Dramamine and Christian Louboutins: Top Model hits the high seas for its ninth-cycle premiere. The lucky model wannabes - including one contestant dealing with Asperger's syndrome, a form of autism - spend the episode on a cruise ship, where they're treated to a safety presentation from Miss J (no skinny bitches overboard!) and an awkward musical number courtesy of Tyra (a feather headdress is involved). While the ANTM franchise no longer elicits surprises, it's always been hard to look away from this ode to fierceness. Tonight's premiere proves it still has sea legs. B+ - Tim Stack"

The Ultimate Fighter is the only reality show I've managed to stick with from the beginning to the present. I've come close with the Amazing Race, but ducked out a couple of seasons. Granted TAR has been around a bit longer. I think all reality shows should end with two of the contestants fighting.

Think you were the only one not groovin' on the last season of Survivor? "I didn't like Fiji either," says host Jeff Probst. "I said halfway through that we screwed up with our decision to give one tribe everything." This one wasn't bad. It seems like Survivor is good for a season, sucky for a season or two, then good. Rinse and repeat.
My favorite so far is the gravedigger (name escapes me, it might be James or something). His demeanor kicks ass, but I hated when the Christian woman tried to give him advice. Hopefully he was smart enough to let it go in one ear and out the other.
