SEASON PREMIERE
"The Sarah Silverman Program" C- - Nicholas Fonseca
"Abortion is no joke. So naturally, Sarah makes plenty about the subject in this premiere. There are a few well-earned laughs (and I'm going to hell for just typing that), but ultimately, this episode is fatally flawed thanks to a stupid Dungeons & Dragons-themed subplot that's as unoriginal (and unfunny) as it sounds."

''This is going to be our year,'' says Jack (Alec Baldwin) to Liz (Tina Fey). Lucky for us, ''our year'' finds Liz sulking in an unneeded wedding dress and Jack developing a new reality hit, MILF Island (''25 superhot moms, 50 eighth graders, no rules''). The bonus: Jerry Seinfeld playing himself, peeved at NBC for splicing old footage of him into its current shows. (SeinfeldVision!) So he threatens to ''buy NBC and turn it into the biggest Lane Bryant in midtown.'' As long as they play 30 Rock in the dressing rooms, Jer, we're in."
I laughed so hard at this description, I may have to watch this.

But the kissin' colleagues don't get off the hook easily, either, and (without giving too much away) the consequences for Elliot's engagement are classic Scrubs. Sure, the wacky doc-com doesn't feel as fresh as it did before the influx of other single-camera comedies with pathos, but with J.D. in the homestretch of (finally) growing up - and the knowledge that this is, in fact, Scrubs' last season - that's far from a hopeless diagnosis."
