Even better. She's got the good drugs.
Let's not forget:
* Queen Cate (Elizabeth 1 and 2)
* Upper-Class Twit Cate (Talented Mr. Ripley)
* Drug-Addicted Rehab Cate (Little Fish)
That's alot of Cate to love! I agree her turn in Indy IV will only inspire deeper and more fanatic admiration of her especial talents.

Wired's Oscars for Outstanding Achievement in the Art of the Movie Trailer
By Brian Raftery 02.25.08 | 6:00 PM
"It's been seven years since the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences added a new category to the Oscar accolades: Best Animated Feature. We think it's time Hollywood created another: Best Movie Trailer. Thanks to the rapt attention they've gotten through YouTube, MySpace TV, and Apple.com, coming attractions have evolved into a cinematic art form all their own. Many are better edited, scored, and art-directed than the films they're selling — not to mention that you can watch them online for free. The following Wired honorees are approved for most audiences.
Best Cinematography
Iron Man
Kudos to the San Diego Comic-Con attendee who managed to keep a camera phone steady during the entire two-and-a-half-minute trailer premiere and then immediately uploaded the footage to YouTube. Tony Stark's metal suit on a 4 x 5-inch screen with screechy sound was a revelation for geeks worldwide."

I love the camera work and the acting but I just feel that some of the special effects will become venom for the critics in the final product. It seems cartoony in a lot of places

This paragraph is so mind-bogglingly stupid, it's almost beyond belief. The Oscar broadcast isn't long enough, let's have a category for trailers.

And several of the categories that already exist are not presented during the show.

Best Adaptation
"National Treasure: Book Of Secrets"
"While trailers occasionally include scenes that don't make it into the final release, the Treasure tease contained so much omitted footage that The New York Times wondered whether it upstaged the movie. Judging by this gem, trailers are the new director's cut." (Wired)

Best Director
"Tie: Sylvester Stallone (Rambo); Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood)
Before this spring, the only thing that Sly and P. T. had in common was coming within striking distance of Burt Reynolds' ferocious toupee. But both of these auteurs wisely decided to release very early (and very creepy) trailers directly to fan sites, rather than waiting to showcase them in theaters. As for which was more effective, it's a draw: Blood introduces Daniel Day-Lewis' John Huston-by-way-of-Mr. Burns accent, while Rambo features Stallone actually punching a guy's head off. So, you know what? You're both winners. OK? Now just don't hurt us"

The internet Rambo trailer and first theatrical trailer were quite excellent for Rambo. A couple "holy crap!" moments in tehre, while showing the more character-based aspect of the film. A shame they went the cheap route with the second shorter theatrical trailer (the "let the bodies hit the floor!" one).

Best Visual Effects
Cloverfield
"Few people even knew Cloverfield existed until its trailer materialized in front of Transformers last July. Once audiences saw the Statue of Liberty's head being rolled down a Manhattan street like a 7-10 split, Cloverfield became the most buzzed-about movie of the summer and a winter box office"

Yes, the Cloverfield trailer definitely was mystifying and it made me interested enough to go and see it.

Next: Best Film Editing
"Knocked Up"
"Judd Apatow wasn't the first director to revive the red-band trailer, which allows violence, sex, and, here, Seth Rogen's foul mouth seemingly on repeat. But the racy Knocked Up preview was a must-rewind last spring, and now every release aimed at teens and twentysomethings includes a red version."

Cloverfield trailer was definitely great. Perfect example of how to make someone want to see the film without spoiling it majorly.

They don't need to broadcast it- but I think there is merit in the notion- trailers and teasers have become their own medium of entertainment over the past 18 years (as the modern trailer style didn't really come into it's own until the early 90's ala T2, though rougher echoes exist in some mid/late-80's ones), a new form of short film.
Hell, the second trailer to Pearl Harbor (the theatrical version, not the altered-music version released online) is one of the few theatrical experiences to actually get me to tear up with it's combination of visuals, music and "the speech"; something very few full-narratives have ever achieved, so there's definitely something to be recognized there in the medium.
Not to mention a lot people seem to depend on trailers as the backup value for their money spent on entertainment at a theater in a "well, even if the movie sucks, at least the previews are usually good" sorta way.
