Movie looks great. My first intro to the HP universe were the movies, and watched the first 4 before I picked up a book (just read my GFs copies ) and I liked the books, too. She, however, hates the movies because they leave out too much from the books. Being a huge LOTR fan, I'm used to that and it doesn't bother me. I'll be seeing this in the theatre.

Yeah, I haven't read the books, but I can appreciate the need to leave things out. It's really a matter of how well the director handles what is left in and does it still have a similar feel\spirit as the book. Best I can tell from those who have read the books, HP does well enough.

I've liked all the trailers for the Harry Potter films.
They get the job done, I'm eager to see the next one after
I've seen the trailer, and I don't feel spoiled.
They don't ruin the Potter films for me.
I don't read the books, so everything in the trailers
are a surprise to me, but not so much that they re
destroying the film for me.
I hated the CHILDREN OF MEN trailer.
Too much information, thank you very much.
I'm really looking forward to the trailer for
Indy 4. I estimate it will be out in time for
Thanksgiving.

I'd have to say the worst trailer is the one for Free Willy. It gave away the plot and the ending. It was pretty much cliff notes for the film.

The cardinal sin of movie trailers!

The cardinal sin is length and what I call the 3 minutes plot summary. I want to be surprised, dammit!

I don't think I've hated any trailer recently as much as the one for SMOKIN' ACES.
It practically screams "we are so cool and hip"!

Brilliant trailer. Some of the lines are gold and judging from Shaun of the Dead I'm willing to bet that they didn't use up all their comedy for the trailer.

I assume you have slo-mo; I couldn't get all of them. But it was funny. That's the kind of trailer that makes you want to see more.
