I agree with you, Quest. had his voice been less Roger Rabbit-like and he wasn't bungling every scene, he would've been much less hated, perhaps even embraced.

1) Its a movie. Relax people. 
2) Jar Jar was not nearly the horror people made him out to be. He wasn't the greatest thing to ever come along, but I can think of a few things about the Prequels that annoy me more than Jar Jar.
3) Its all matter of perspective and opinion. You can disagree and counter someone's point but its not something to be taken personally.
4) As far as Hollywood disasters go I would be inclined to think that there are an abundance of far worse offences and disasters than Jar Jar Binks.
