Apparently they've recast Destro with Christopher Eccleston (the 9th Doctor on Doctor Who)- sweet!

I usually hate when movies should be rated R and instead get a PG-13 rating. But I think this movie would actually be better rated PG-13 for some reason. I also hope that the movie will play it straight and not be campy. However, it should not be a serious war movie like Black Hawk Down. It should be more serious than a Spider-Man movie, but less serious than a Nolan Batman movie. Some where in the middle would be cool.

Awesome news indeed. Apparently the other guy didn't get his work visa papers in order so they went with the impeccable Doctor.
Oh, and for those that care, filming started yesterday, 2/11

A new picture has been leaked of Ray Park as Snake Eyes.
According to G.I. Joe comics writer Larry Hama, it is the real thing.

I definitely like the look of Park there. Is that how he's going to look in the film or has there been any doctoring to the image for promotional purposes?

I do like that it's the slightly-older Snake Eyes design they're using as well as incorporating the Arashikage logo. However, I wonder if there will be any explanation of it or inclusion of emotional conflict with Storm Shadow or if it's just "there."
