so last night i found that someone has created a forum to discuss the 01-18-08 and Ethan Haas stuff.
the people there are convinced that it's all related and that the denial is a part of the pitch.

My friends and I were discussing the trailer the other day (proves just how effective viral marketing is), and one of the theories we had is that this might be from the upcoming Evangelion live action movie.

On some of the viral marketing sites, there's some very apocalyptic Bible verses. That fits with Evangelion...and a million other possible movies.

basically these giant monsters start to appear, and they are actually
.......Angels.....
so we are fighting against ......G_D........
we build these giant robots that can only be piloted by children who were
in their mothers womb durring a certain time and they have to fight the
giant monsters when they appear.
Reguardless, We lose, Duh!, and the world becomes the Oversoul-we are all connected into one giant form of life energy
Evangelion would be nice, but I think they won't let Hollywood mess that up, it's most likely going to be Godzilla, Cthulu, or an original monster, there is talk that its mass halucinations, caused by chemical weapon but then why would a camcorder pick it up??

It's going to be something completely original I'm guessing, or at the very least, Cthulhu.
Why the hell are there so many people who assume that NYC + destruction = Godzilla? That seems so boringly obvious that the movie will lose most of my interest if its true.

Not quite, we call them Angels, but that's just what we call them.

I took, from End of Evangelion and the last episode of the series that Shinji allowed everyone to choose for themselves whether to remain a part of Human Instrumentality or to retake their human forms.
In any case, I don't care what this movie is, I wanna see it.
