You must have them. Big blockbuster films that are huge everywhere and have the boards of a fair few websites ablaze, but that just don't appeal to you.

For me it was Transformers, but for now it's probably Cloverfield/1-18-08. The more I hear of this film, the less I'm intrigued. The trailer was promising, but I liked it better when Ethan Haas WAS right, and not part of some video game, and as far as I can tell, even JJ admits that it's going to be a standard monster movie.

So what titan films are looming on the horizon that you just don't can't get excited about?

NOTE: This is not a thread for bashing any specific film, and if it becomes solely devoted to trashing, say, Cloverfield, or anything else for that matter, I will lock it up and throw away the key.

The Golden Compass. Looks like crap, but everyone wants to see it for some reason...

I know there are people looking forward to Rush Hour 3, but you would have to pay me a lot of money to even consider seeing it.

"What would Hitler do?"
And then, you know, do the opposite.

Northern Lights. Love the book, hate the trailer. Just looks really badly done. I don't agree with a lot of the casting, the CGI looks like ass and I'm not sure if they've got religion in it or not. Most likely not which will make it even worse.

While watching the Golden Compass trailer for the first time I was 50/50 for most of it... then a polar bear came out of nowhere and started talking and I cried a little inside.

That polar bear is such an awesome character in the book, though. And it looks like the movie will do him justice.

I didn't care about The Bourne Ultimatum at all since I really did not like the first two films. But once it got either 3 1/2 or 4 stars from virtually every major paper I decided to check it out. Loved it.

Don't really care about Rush Hour 3, but then again I'm not really into comedies in general.

I liked the first National Treasure and all of my friends are excited about the second, but the new trailer is just beyond ridiculous. Hopefully it will have a self-conscious campy quality to it, otherwise I think it'll be a train wreck.

Golden Compass - I didn't like the book, I think I'm the only person in the world who didn't. And it will probably get good reviews and everyone will be reading it and...uggg.

Although I'll probably see it for Daniel Craig drooling

Yea, but in the context of the book it isnt as outrageous as it sounds. And I agree, he was a great character.

The talking animals were the only things that drew me to TGC. The rest of it looks dreadful.

Doesn't seem like that will be a problem with this movie.
