The irony is the one that was not a hit "Speed Racer" was probably the best movie of all of them..

Often very good movies are flops. Box office take is not generally a measure of quality.

I wouldn't say often, but certainly more than people would think...

Not looking forward to Clone Wars, Narnia, and that silly-looking kiddie Vampire movie.

I'm not looking forward to ; Clone Wars , Harry Potter or Prince Caspian.

But I probably end up seeing the Clone Wars. But I'm not really looking forward to it. They're trying to expand the prequel trilogy too much. I haven't and I will not follow any news regarding this new animated Star Wars movie. Because of Clone Wars and other expansions of Star Wars my interest in that Universe has dropped to almost zero.

Why do they have to cramp up everything between the movies? Why not create something new, if they HAVE TO do more of these movies. Animated or live-action...

I'm not interested in seeing a bunch of new faces and/or padawans, we've never heard of before... Either give us a new timeline with new characters or don't do it at all. I hate you George Lucas [face_middle_finger]

But like I said before, I will probably end up seeing it because it's.. *cough* Star Wars...

Regarding "Clone Wars"...it depends on whether the story quality is OT or PT. The latter is more probable.

Wall-E

I just don't get very excited about these animated comedy things.

I'm under the impression that Wall-E isn't a comedy, but rather hard science fiction aimed at children.

That's a bummer. Toy Story 2 is a masterpiece that stands with any film ever made, and The Incredibles is right up there as well.

^Yeah, I enjoyed them - the scripting for them both was superb, really very witty. However, I didn't get excited about either before I saw them, and I have yet to see either of them for a second time.

The only animated movie in the last ten years that I've seen more than once is Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Though I really like Wallace and Gromit, if a friend of mine hadn't been keen on seeing it when it first came out I would have been perfectly happy with seeing it first on dvd. I really don't get excited about these movies... don't know why.

Well I would have to say a animated movie is one of my most watched movies that being Incredibles. I watch it about once a month or so.

Though Wall*E had some laughs in it, I think it's more of an animated sci-fi love story, and I think it was one of the best animated films to date.

The trailer for Clone Wars is the worst I've ever seen. The new one is bad, but the first one was just horrendous.

Bam. But yeah, whoever edited that trailer doesn't know what they're doing. A good trailer should make you want to see the movie, without necessarily informing the viewer of the plot (see the red band for Burn After Reading); the Clone Wars trailer's first priority is to explain the plot. It feels very awkward, very stilted.
