It was a pretty good episode, with some funny uses of the CSI body-CGI stuff.

This is the absolute strangest property crossover I've ever come across. This is coincidentally the one week I'll be watching either show. Being that these are two of the most comfortable, always-the-same, no-risk shows on TV, I will say that trying something new and bizarre like this is good for them.

CSI adds a new cast member
Who surprise, surprise, is good looking, which is true of all women in science, 'cause they all are ex-exotic dancers, dontya know.

Yeah, right. I hate David Caruso so much that I have never watched one episode of this show.

Petersen's leaving it will be interesting how the show does. I think it'll be fine, but this could either be the end or it could continue like ER. I've been watching a lot of Miami episodes lately. And like the original it's a solid entertaining show.

Must Watch of the Week Season Premiere Preview
CSI
"We'd have to stretch all the way back to Jimmy Smits biting it on NYPD Blue to remember the last time a crime drama made us weepy. But with Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan) shot in the season 8 finale, CSI returns with a wrenching yet satisfying opener that puts the investigators on their most important case: finding out who killed their colleague. The scenario forces everyone — characters and actors alike — to turn in their best work, particularly William Petersen, who taps into an emotional reservoir we didn't know Grissom had. The result is an episode that's so solid, the return of Jorja Fox feels less like a stunt, and more like a family reunion. —Alynda Wheat"

CSI: Las Vegas is one of my favorite shows, but its going to suck when Peterson leaves and Fishburne takes over.
I can see it now. "What did the victim choke on?..the red pill..or the blue pill..?"
Ahhhh!
