From Rotten Tomatoes:
20TH CENTURY FOX LOVES IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER
"Long in development, the A-Team movie's imminent production got a bit of a backdoor announcement this week in the form of 20th Century Fox adding the title to its release calendar, aiming for a summer date of June 12th, 2009. The adaptation of the 1980s adventure TV series about a foursome of Vietnam vets on the run who travel around helping people as classifieds-advertising vigilantes has for years been the subject of thousands of "dream casting" type web sites and posts. If someone is beefy, famous and and black, then someone else somewhere has suggested they'd be perfect to play B.A. Barracus. The same goes for wacky comedian types and Murdock. Regardless, no official casting has been announced yet. What we do know, however, is that the current director is John Singleton (Shaft, 2 Fast 2 Furious) and the script will be by his writing team (Michael Brandt and Derek Haas) from 2 Fast 2 Furious (and also, 3:10 to Yuma). So, join the fun... who do *you* think would be best for each of the show's iconic characters?"

I don't if they'd use the orignal intro in the movie, but I could see where it would make a very effective trailer.

Don't they need to update their characters a bit? Vietnam vets would be too old now to be vigilantes.

I would presume that they are veterans of Iraq and/or Afgahanistan.

It could be worst : Mr T theme
boy the look on Benidict face if Sackhoff plays face lol !
Or bring Chyna to play BA !
seriously though i can't see A-team coming back, the people who played the orginal characters were unique and gave the show the edge especially the BA-Murdoc scene
i was on the floor laughing - I can't see this being donw again with another actors
and please don't put Jim carey as Murdoc - he's annoying as he is !
however if they change it around, not focuing too much on the orginal cast members, maybe revamping the characters and set it after the Iraq/Afganistan war then yes it could work.
but the theme song and the fight scence yknow the part when they start building those gadgets to defeat the bad guys MUST BE THERE otherwise it aint A Team.

QFT.He already hates her for playing Starbuck as being totally balls to the wall crazy. Imagine how much he'll hate her if she's cast in The A-Team.

Well, one of the jokes on the A-Team was when Face was on the Universal lot and a Cylon walked by him- maybe cast someone from the new BSG (other than Katie) to mimic that pattern- Bamber, perhaps?
Hannibal: Chris Cooper, Dennis Quaid or Kevin Spacey
B.A.: Jamie Foxx
Murdoch: Brendan Fraser, Ryan Reynolds, Jason Lee, Steve Carell, Will Ferell or Jim Carrey, depending on how all-out you want to go. Remember, we need someone who can pull off "TA-RASH BAGS!I WANT TA-RASH BAGS!"
Faceman: Colin Farell, Jamie Bamber

Hannibal: Samuel L. Jackson or Kurt Russell
Face: Jude Law or Cillian Murphy
B.A.: Michael Clark Duncan (yeah, props to RX_Sith; I think this casting is a no-brainer)
Murdock: Robert Downey jr or Ed Norton
Actually, I'd like to see an A-Team movie where Daniel Day-Lewis plays all the members of the team himself.

^ I like those, with the exception of Forest Whittaker. There is no way he is physically intimidating enough to be B.A.
Unfortunately, I bet we'll get Travolta as Hannibal, Chris Evans as Face, Ice-Cube as B.A., and Mike Myers as Murdoch.
