RE: Famous Canadian Actors: Now Disc. Melody Anderson
Melody Anderson
She made her feature film debut as Dale Arden in the campy 80's movie adaptation of the classic 30's Saturday morning serial "Flash Gordon". The Edmonton, Alberta native has since been seen in John Carpenter's "Elvis" TV movie alongside Kurt Russell, "Dead and Buried", the daytime drama "All my Children", and the TV series "Manimal", and Jake and the Fatman. Her last major role was that of Marilyn Monroe in the 1993 TV movie "Marilyn & Bobby: Her Final Affair."

The problem was...Ornella Muti was also in that film. This poor woman couldn't compete.

B is for Burr, Raymond, star of the "Perry Mason" series. Mr. Burr was also know to be a wine connoisseur.
Raymond Burr played villains in nearly 100 films, he also starred in the first ever Godzilla movie, before landing the part of hero attorney "Perry Mason" (CBS, 1957-1956). Besides having a successful acting career, he also set up Raymond Burr Vineyards in Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley where he grew Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc red wine grapes. Raymond Burr passed away in 1993.

He was in some iconic movies: Godzilla and Rear Window for two.
And in two successful TV series: Perry Mason (he tried out for the role of Burger) and Ironside.

RE: Famous Canadian Actors: Now Disc. Scott Bairstow
Scott Bairstow
He is best remembered for his sinister turn as fellow Canadian Neve Campbell's abusive boyfriend in "Party of Five", and as the lead character in the Chris Carter series "Harsh Realm". Scott Bairstow's career show no signs of stopping, with several lead roles in television and feature films. While he often portrays troubled young men, the real Scott is a down-to-earth, married-with-child kind of guy who knows where he stands, on and off the stage.

This must be an old list; that's all I can say.
Bairstow was in a nasty scandal in 2003, and has scarcely worked since.

RE: Famous Canadian Actors: Now Disc. Blair Brown
Blair Brown
She has an impressive list of credits to her name; from starring in theater, to various films including Ken Russell science-fiction classic "Altered States", to directing the TV series "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd", it's difficult to decide which is her best performance. Blair Brown is an actor's actor, showing versatility and talent with understated flair.

As one of the few people that has actually seen "Altered States", I have to say she's a fine actress, nice-looking, etc. Didn't get much of a chance in Hollywood, unfortuantely.
