If I've seen her, I don't remember her. So much for 'famous'...

Sarah Chalke

She was the "replacement" Becky on the TV sitcom "Roseanne", and can also be seen in "Scrubs." She has also starred in several TV movies, and the feature films "Cinderella: Single Again," and "Spin Cycle." She received a Gemini Award nomination for her work in "Nothing too Good for a Cowboy".

After the original Becky had returned to the show, they featured Chalke in a cameo as a trick 'n treater, who says to Rosanne: "Oh, I wish you were my mother!"

Hee.

His work on the old SCTV show is just incredible comedy. Check it out, if you ever get the chance...Lots of talent came outta that.

My personal favourite Candy film will probably always be "Uncle Buck". I don't know why, but that one always makes me laugh.

"Who let the cat out?"

"We don't HAVE a cat!"

I love Uncle Buck. I have it on an old vhs, which would be fine if my vcr hadn't finally croaked recently. I should keep an eye out for a cheap dvd of it.

As for Gil Bellows, how can you people not remember him in Shawshank? I liked him in Ally McBeal, too. That show got a little too strange for me near the end of its run, though. (Bellows' character's death came way out of left field.) Still, I wish I could still find reruns on tv. sad

Kim Cattrall

She was born in Liverpool, England and emigrated with her family to Canada when she was three months old. Kim studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art when she was eleven, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. She has one of the leading roles in the hugely popular HBO series "Sex in the City", but many also know her from her roles in Oliver Stone's "Wild Palms", and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. She has also co-authored a book with Mark Levinson called "The Art of the Female Orgasm".

Listen, no one can say anything bad about Kim Cattrall.

She slept with Kurt Russell and that makes her off limits

Working backwards:

Kim Cattrall -- First saw her in Star Trek VI and Big Trouble in Little China. Not really familiar with her in much else. Not really a Sex and the City fan.

Sarah Chalke -- Never seen her in anything.

Emmanuelle Chriqui -- Saw her in 100 Girls and immediately fell in love. Then she disappeared and I haven't seen her in anything until You Don't Mess with the Zohan, where she was sadly underused.

Marie-Josée Croze -- Seen her a few times, never in a major role, most notably in Munich.

John Candy -- Brilliant.

Neve Campbell -- Fell off my radar after the Scream films. Has she done anything notable lately?

Jim Carrey -- A better actor than anyone would have guessed, frequently misused or used for the wrong reasons.

Back to work. I'll continue later.

My first recollection of Kim Cattrall is Porky's. grin
Decent enough actress all in all (although I've never watched SATC) but probably more known for her willingness to doff her clothes, at least in her movies.

As for Chriqui, a pretty girl interchangeable with any of the other numerous 20-something pretty actresses in Hollywood.

Sarah Chalke I think has a real talent for comedy. Scrubs has certainly borne that out (and also her apparently being the mother in How I Met Your Mother), and she was the better Becky on Roseanne. She does pretty well in the dramatic moments on Scrubs too but her niche seems to be comedy. Ain't hard to look at either wink

Elisha Cuthbert

She began her show business career at the age of seven, as a model, and later went on to become the host of Popular Mechanics for kids, and this for 4 seasons. While she was the host of PMK, she also starred in several movies, including Who Gets the House, Believe, Airspeed, and Lucky Girl, where she played a teen gambling addict. She also starred on the hit Canadian kid's series "Are You Afraid of the dark", and now, her most visible role ever, that of Kiefer Sutherland's daughter on the groundbreaking Fox TV series "24".

Meh. Fine to look at but interchangable with many other young actresses. Her character on 24 is easily the most hated among the fan base (not her fault really but it is her face associated with the character). Her moment seems to have come and gone already.

Tom Cavanagh

He is the Ottawa native who starred as Ed Stevens, on the NBC series Ed TV, a role that earned him a Golden Globe nomination and the TV Guide Award for Favorite Actor in a New Series.

In addition to his lead role on the show, Ed has appeared in Anya’s Bell with Della Reese, and in feature films such as Car 54, Magic in the Water, and Northern Lights, where he played Diane Keaton’s brother.

Tom Cavanaugh has most recently been seen on the hit NBC series Scrubs, where he played Dan Dorian, J.D.'s older brother, and on the TV special Christmas In Rockefeller Center.
