i found that i watched it with the wrong people, they sighed every time it looked like the film would wrap and then continued.
i've had that with the thin red line as well, that i just indulged in the scenery and didn't care much for the little bits of dialogue. and with jesse james i had trouble understanding the shreds in the first place.
