WW and Green Lady are of the same kind, but having the Green Lady be WW reborn would mean that Aslan's defeat of her wasn't definitive. Also, it would cause confusion among the casual moviegoers.

I like the idea because it saves the moviegoer (or reader) the confusion of not knowing anything. As young a reader, I always thought of her as the White Witch presiding over hell. It's an explanation that works in the context of the series. Aslan defeats the White Witch, banishes her to hell, but she is able to influence the world above her once she has established herself as ruler of the underworld.

Otherwise, she's just an enigma.

Oh, I definitely plan on seeing Voyage of the Dawn Treader, as I'm a big fan of Narnia, but I agree that it probably won't go on much longer afterwards. Non-readers of the books are probably going to have trouble as it is getting used to not having Peter and Susan as key players in the story, and as the Pevensie characters become less central, casual audiences could become less interested.

Lewis said that the WW and the LGK are of the same kind, just not the same person. Maybe of the same bloodline but they are NOT the same person and shouldnt' be cast as such.

Dawn Treader should be good. Michael Apted directed Amazing Grace and it was VERY good. I'm not worried at all. happy

Beverly Hills Cop IV (2010)

A fourth Beverly Hills Cop film is reported to be in development. The first news arrived in 2006. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer had stated his intention to resurrect the franchise, but eventually gave up his option to produce the film. Lorenzo di Bonaventura was slated to produce the film. Several scripts had reportedly been produced, the latest a fusion of several of the previous versions. The film had officially been given a greenlight, and the film was said to be still in development. The latest news on the project was that Murphy was reportedly happy with the current outline, which was described as an attempt to recapture "the feel of the original". In May 2008, Brett Ratner was officially named director for the project. Also it was stated that there were no writers for the project as of yet, and that they were still looking. Eddie Murphy is set to reprise his role as Detective Axel Foley. It is unknown whether Judge Reinhold or John Ashton will return to reprise their roles. Inspired by the success of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Paramount Pictures is said to be aiming for a 2009 production start, in time for a 2010 release. Director Brett Ratner was reportedly hoping that the film would get a PG-13 rating. Ratner later dismisssed the statement, insisting that the film would be getting the franchise's standard R rating. In a recent interview with Extra TV, Eddie Murphy has expressed doubt in returning as Foley as "the movie wasn't ready to be done." However, in a later interview with MTV, Murphy stated he was not retiring and that he would be returning for the fourth installment. One reason he stated was that "the third Beverly Hills Cop was horrible!" and that he "didn't want to leave it like that". Michael Brandt and Derek Haas were hired as screenwriters for the film. Harold Faltermeyer's Axel F is reported to be returning for the fourth installment. Director Brett Ratner has been quoted as saying "It'll be back but it'll be a whole new interpretation.

The third BHC was indeed horrible. So was the second. Take heed.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2010).

(from wiki)

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a children's book written by author Judi Barrett and illustrated by Ron Barrett. It was first published in 1982 by Aladdin Paperbacks.

Plot

The book describes the town of Chewandswallow, where the weather comes three times a day, at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is always food and beverages. The rain is juice and soup, the snow is mashed potatoes, and the wind brings hamburgers. However, when floods and storms of food come, the town must do something to survive.

Film adaptation

On August 15, 2006, Sony Pictures Animation announced that they would be making a film adaptation of the book. The movie will attempt to tell the origins of Chewandswallow's weather. The planned release date is January 15, 2010. On June 13, 2008, it was announced that Andy Samberg and Anna Farris would star in the film. On September 18, 2008, it was announced that Bill Hader and Anna Faris have signed on to voice the two lead characters. Hader will voice Flint Lockwood, "a young inventor who dreams of creating something that will improve everyone's life." Faris plays Sam Sparks, "a weathergirl covering the phenomenon who hides her intelligence behind a perky exterior." James Caan, Bruce Campbell, Mr. T and Tracy Morgan are also on the voice cast.

I liked the first 4 movies, but I think they took too long to make this sequel. I mean, no Bill Murray OR Corey Feldman.

wink
