I had a quick scan, couldn`t see an existing thread for this so here goes.....I watched this yesterday, on the recommendation of a friend as I hadn`t really heard anything about it, but was REALLY impressed with it - Colin Farrell`s really funny in it (during the funny parts anyway!) and Brendan Gleeson was excellent. I don`t want to say too much about the plot for anyone who`s not seen it, but I don`t think anyone watching it would be able to predict the path the film goes down towards the end.
Quite a touching film, I thought - highly recommended.
Has anyone else on the boards seen it?

It's one of my favorite films so far this year. Witty and potent. I highly recommend it.

I think it was better because I started watching it not expecting anything special.
It seems to have had quite a low-key release, it`s almost like it`s slipped under most peoples radars.

I actually watched it during the theatrical release. I thought it was OK. But it doesn't really hold up to a 2nd viewing (I watched it again on DVD).

This only came out here last week, I saw it at cheap Tuesday at the cinema. I really enjoyed it; probably not something I'd watch again really but a good film nonetheless.
