I just finished reading "Swastika Night" which was really good, but I think it dragged on towards the end.
I am, atm, reading Consider Phlebas by Iain M. Banks, The Flight of the Eisenstein by James Swallow, and Dominion by Steven Saville

I've gotten behind (again) in my reading, but I'm working my way through Eric Clapton's autobiography.

Paul Johnson's book on Napoleon. Contained a really egregious proofreading mistake, though.

I read that sucker once. I also had to read "What Is To Be Done" by Lenin.
Tyrants crave power so that they can force people to read their crappy books.

Brands' bio of Ben Franklin was good.
I might look into that Andy Jackson book... after I finish the 327 books on my to-read list.

And I *would* describe him as a tyrant. He always gets a free ride, mainly because Stalin was much worse.
