If the Lakers sweep the Jazz, then they are destined to win it all this season.

Which I hope they do. Personally I hate the Jazz (probably mentioned it a few posts back but I love emphasizing it).

I don't hate the Jazz, but I can't stand Jerry Sloan.

I don't hate the Jazz, but they do employ the one player I hate more than any other in the league.
And I'm turning this garbage game off. Even my eternal hope is giving up.

Good game right now between the Hornets and Spurs... tied right now in the 3rd quarter. Spurs really need to win this to have any chance of coming back to win.

Can't argue with that. I've been saying that since he was a freshman at Wake.

The Lakers drop their first game of this postseason last night, and what an awful night it was. 18 turnovers (Jazz scored 22 points from these), Boozer coming alive again (27 points, 20 boards), and horrible 3-point shooting from the purple & gold (5-23). The positives? Not many. Kobe was Kobe (34 points, 6 boards, 7 assists), Odom's double-double (13 points, 12 boards), and all starters but Radmanovic scoring in double figures. Hopefully tommorrow afternoon the Lakers will take better control of the ball/have the bench produce (only 18 points last night, 11 from Walton, 8 from Turiaf), or else it's going to be 2-2 when the series comes back here to La La Land.

It's good to know that Boston isn't getting all the calls.
WT* was that not a flagrant 2?
I've seen at least two plays like that in the playoffs this year, in other series, and both players that fouled were ejected.

Lebron James just mentioned his five favorite arenas to play in, which were the following:
1) Quicken Loan Arena (Cleveland)
2) MSG (New York)
3) Staples Center (LA)
4) Wachovia Center (Philly)
5) St. James (his high school)
Come on Lebron and come to Philly when you're a free agent. Cleveland sucks and will never win a championship. The Knicks organization is a mess. Maybe they'll be back on track by then, but who knows. The Lakers don't fit because of Kobe. He is the missing piece for the Sixers. He could lead them to several championship with their good, young supporting cast of Iguodala, Young and Dalembert.
