What a bad couple of days for Cavs fans.
I hope the Bulls pick Beasley and he busts.

I've actually been a quasi-Bulls fan the last few years (which really means I like Duhon and Deng, and pull for them more than the team, but it kinda goes together)... but I still don't really care about who they take.

WOO HOO!
who needs the playoffs anyway?
our two biggest needs are addressed in the top two players available. Beasley is the scoring post presence and Rose is the bonifide superstar PG who can knit this team together.
in todays NBA, there's only one choice, really. it's hometown boy Derrick Rose all the way.

That's the one good thing in the last week .. D'Antoni not going to Chicago.
I'm not convinced Melo is being traded though. I do think someone with good pieces could get AI from Denver for fifty cents on the dollar.

...Noah
not bad.
Does not compute.
I doubt Melo will be moving, and if I were Chicago, I'm not sure I'd even want him.
And the laughing at D'Antoni started a while ago. I mean, the Knicks? Ouch.

Go Spurs! I wish they would have had more rest but you get what you get in this game. Watch out Lakers Duncan and the crew are on their way.

'Twas not easy last night for the purple & gold, but they got the job done. After getting down by 20 late in the 3rd, the Lakers got the stops they needed to help maintain their run right to the victory, as their first lead of the game didn't come until very late in the 4th (with 2:42 left to go). Bryant was great (27 points, 9 assists), Radmanovic was respectable enough (10 points, 5 boards-though all of his scoring came in the first quarter), the bench played better (8 points from Farmar, 10 points & 5 boards for Vujacic, 3 points from Turiaf), Gasol with a good game (19 points, 7 boards, 3 assists) and the team doing a good job of sharing the ball (18 total assists). Hopefully the confidence/momentum from the comeback last night leads to a victory tommorow night.
