The NBA draft is very interesting. I saw an interview with Jim or is it Chris tongue Rome and the Grizzlies GM. The Grizzlies GM said he wanted to keep his options open, like every other GM in every league. However, for some reason I am almost convinced he is going to make a big trade to get up to the #2 spot. He couldn't shy away from that. He also mentioned some veteran players he was interested in. Hmmm... He's up to something fishy.

Should be a wild night for the draft. I expect to see some major moves.

Should be interesting with Mr. James and Mr. Shaq.

I look to the Bucks drafting Teague or Flynn.

There will defiently be some major moves. I see the Suns getting rid or several players. Their door for a title closed a few years back with the "Spurs" incident. I can see them dealing Amare, and bringing in some young talent to start over. Getting rid of Dantoni didn't help the Suns either...

Getting rid of D'Antoni was a really bad move... unless you're the Knicks tongue

Wow, first Shaq gets traded to the Cavs and it is now being reported that Vince Carter has been traded to the Magic.

Oh, the NBA draft is definitely far more interesting to me as well. Though the NFL draft does top the MLB draft ever so slightly, IMO tongue

NBA draft also doesn't drag on and on like the NFL one does.

talk of Amare going to Golden State for Biedrins + #7.

decent deal for the Suns, you'd think, seeing they're firmly in rebuilding mode.

unfortunately beats anything the Bulls could offer. sad

Wow, Terrible trade for the Magic if you ask me.

1. They pick up his huge contract
2. Carter is still a good player, but he is a few years past his prime.
3. Courtney Lee was looking like a very talented young player.

I understand that Hedo said he was going to Opt out of his contract and that's a major loss, but the Magic jumped the gun.

Don't be so sure. The Bulls may have to free up some cap space. They invested alot of money in their backcourt with Salmons, Hinrich, Rose, and Gordon. I'm sure that the Bulls would make one of the expendable, along with a high future draft pick for Amare.

Why would the T-Wolves draft point guards with both their number 5 and number 6 picks? Do they have a trade in the works to unload one of them? Or is this just another example of the T-Wolves making bad personnel moves?

You would think that Stern would look over the names of the players prior to the draft so that, you know, would know how to pronounce the names.

The T-wolves took 5 guards with their first 5 picks. plain What the heck?

Also, I need to review what happened since I wasn't really focused on the draft most of tonight.

Brandon Jennings and Jody Meeks for the Bucks. Nothing that is going to help them right away, but in the future who the heck knows.

I give them a C.
