No internet yesterday to post about the Tribe whooping on the Yankees, but wow. Can't let that go without an official lol @ the Yankees.

With today's blowout of the Rockies (14-2, highlighted by Kemp's 5 RBI's-1 grand slam and a solo home run), the Dodgers concluded their 1st homestand of the season with a 6-0 record (4-0 in the games I went to cool ), which is tied for the best home start in L.A. Dodger history (1969, I believe-the overall franchise record is 9-0, set by the 1946 Dodgers at Ebbets Field). grin

Just want to point out that the Yankees have never won a game at their home stadium.

And their first series in Boston this year has not helped them any... My Sox came back during the last two games to win and are about to hopefully hand them another loss 2nite in about 3 minutes, extending our win streak to 10 games...

Last night's game was all offense... great game to watch... figures I was working... But thank God for DVR's...

Jacoby Ellsbury just became the first Red Sox to steal home in a decade. Don't see people stealing home too much, and the look on Andy Petitte's face was priceless - "what the heck just happened?" laugh

Ellsbury is becoming a great player. He should be fun to watch for the next 10-12 years of his career.

I have to disagree with that. He has a ton of talent, but getting on base isn't one of them right now. He's has improved from last season, but he still has problems working pitch counts and drawing walks. Something important for him to do as a lead-off hitter. Right now, I'd say he's becoming a better player, not great.

Nice run right now for the Red Sox. Even with some shaky performances from their starters, they're on an 11-game win streak winning blowouts and tight games.

Serious kudos to Zack Greinke and the 43 innings he went to start the season without allowing an earned run.

Especially since he's had several rough seasons since entering the big leagues.

Wow, the Angels lost a 5-run lead last night to the Yankees. I'm sure that Brian Fuentes is not happy with himself after blowing that lead.

That's gotta be true anytime you blow a lead like that. Gotta be able to move on and put it behind you.

However, sometimes the players go out and make more mistakes in their next outing. Only time will tell if he can bounce back from that or not.
