Twins are in first all by themselves for the first time since May 13th applause

Liriano pitched six shut out innings today, was able to get the big K when he needed it. Very promising..... skull

Well, the Braves offense showed up tonight in Arizona - winning 11-6. A chance for the sweep tomorrow, but against the D-backs, I'm not expecting it. If only the offense could have played a bit more like that for most of the season...

Nice sweep of the Nats this weekend and today for the Brewers. Next we are off to San Diego. Hope we stay hot and do well. Keeping the Cubs within sight.

Also Brewers are up on the Baseball tonight deal where they vote on the 3 top Brewers in their history.

1. Robin Yount
2. Paul Molitor
3. Cecil Cooper

I would have Hank in there but I don't know if he qualifies because he was a Brave forever.

My predictions were right.

1. Robin Yount
2. Paul Molitor
3. Cecil Cooper

Robin Yount is the only MLB Player to win an MVP as an infielder and outfielder. Shortstop and Center field.

Go Brewers!

Red Sox start the day by picking up Paul Byrd today for close to nothing and then end it by blowing a 10 run lead to the Rangers. frustrated

No kidding. I think they said on ESPN last night that that was the first time in MLB history that a team scored 17 runs in a game and lost.

5 CG for Sabathia with the Brewers. Last nights game they should have pulled him, but I will take the win.

Slowey had 12 K's tonight shock , but its hard to catch Chicago. They never lose frustrated . At least the four games the Twins have left with them in at the Metrodome.

And how bout those Rays? Two in a row from the Angels. If anyone still doubted they were for real, I think those doubt ahould be gone now.......

You know somebody I bet was 'roided up? Mark Teixeira. How else can you explain a guy's power numbers declining as he reaches his mid-to-late 20s? If you look at pics of him, you'll notice is arms were bigger in his earlier days with the Rangers than they've been over his last few seasons. I find this sadly suspicious.
