The forecast is calling for single-digit high temperatures next weekend.
Get ready for a lot of "frozen tundra" usage.

Bret Farve is probably the happiest camper around today. He doesn't have to go back to Texas Stadium and get blown out. Instead he get's to blow out Eli.

I'm sure everyone is aware that Troy Aikman never won a game in Green Bay.
I hope he packs his long underwear for Sunday.
p.s. Favre.

Not bad for an "old man".
I was so happy when I saw the forecast for Saturday's game. When the Packers were here in Seattle last season, Green Bay had the lead while it was snowing. As soon as it stopped, the Seahawks were able to come back and win. Despite the dismal start, I never really lost confidence, in part because of the weather... and the "old guy" at QB.

This is out of my newspaper, The Post Standard:
"Consider that Eli Manning's revival - eight touchdown passes, just one interception and passer ratings of well over 100 in his last three games - all came in good weather. And he has attributed his problems in the four previous games to wind and cold. Attention Eli: The long range forecast for next Sunday in Green Bay is a high of 4 degrees."
I guess that sums it up pretty well.

Well, look how good he's done at home this season.
I'm very bummed that the Cowboys got knocked out so early, but I am officially rooting for the Packers now, due to the result.

w00t! Glad to have you aboard, Juli!
I know my friend, who just moved to the Dallas area and is a huge Packers fan, is pretty pissed the Cowboys lost. He would've given up his left... uh, arm to go to the NFC Championship.

You can put me on the temporary Packers bandwagon, too. Of the teams remaining, they're the only one I really want to see hoisting the Lombardi trophy

True but he did win in Milwaukee. I saw 1 game there.
Plus Lambeau is the greatest place to see a game.

I think it's time I admit something. I'm responsible for Favre's consecutive games streak. How's that you say?
My birthday is at the end of August right before the start of the season. Years ago I get an Edgar Bennett what happens, Edgar gets hurt is gone for most of the year. The next jersey I get is a George Koonce, Koonce gets hurt. Dorsey Levens, Antonio Freeman, guess what? Yep they get hurt. So then I wear a Mike McKenzie jersey a few years later what happens, well he gets traded instead. After that it's a Darren Sharper, the next year he leaves for Minnesota. So I refuse to buy or even wear a Favre jersey until he retires.

****. ****. Oh well, it was a good season, and they didn't play a good second half at all. Giants defense won that game.
