Pens up 5-3 with 13 minutes left, even though the Rangers have outshot them by 35 to 15. Sharks lead Stars 1-0 after two periods.
EDIT: Sharks, Stars tied 1-1.
EDIT #2: And...the Rangers lose, are down 3-0 in the series.
EDIT #3: Sharks and Stars going into overtime, come on Stars!
I can't believe the Pens have not lost one single game yet.

Mark my words: you will eat yours. Maybe. Down 3-0 is nothing for the Sharks. We've just been playing with Dallas, but the losing ends now. Getting swept is NOT an option. Especially not by Dallas.

For those of you who are looking for some kind of miracle, the '42 Leafs and '75 Islanders are the only two teams to come back from 3-0 and win. That's 33 years between those two series and it's been 33 years since the Islanders did it.

Isn't it odd that the second round seems less contested than the first? I can't imagine the NHL will be too happy if we get three sweeps in the second round.

I'm only hoping to break a sweep at this point, while praying for a miracle 
Last night's game was a good one though- Rangers (and Jagr) were playing with passion, and the Blueshirts were dominating the majority of the game (except for the first 5 minutes or so when the Pens were choking the neutral zone like the Devils used to, but thankfully the Rangers managed to break through that so the game wasn't stuck being boring), but unfortunately their powerplay absolutely sucked, Malkin is too explosive, and Fluery really raised his game- he was the one keeping the Pens in the game, for the most part (I mean, even with that kicksave attempt on the first Ranger goal? That would have been a save if he was like half a foot forward).
Hopefully Drury isn't too badly hurt- looks like he pulled something in essentially an innocent-looking enough motion. Betts too (though he took a block to the face I think, so he's probbaly a bit worse off ).
On the brightside, a loss like this to the Pens just makes the Devils loss to the Rangers that much more embarrassing

This just isn't the Avs year. It seems like every time we get somebody back, another key player goes down. Last night we got a battered Forsberg, but no Ryan Smyth and lost Stastny in the 1st period. I know they have the talent to beat Detroit even without Marek Svatos, but this has just been one road block after another.

You know, Avery's been pretty absent in front of Fluery. Only thing I've noticed was from game 2 towards the end when Avery supposedly "speared" Fluery at the end of the game. He didn't do much last night either. Avery only scored what 1 goal in this round?
Maybe, just like the rest of the Rangers, they only get excited when they play the Devils.
