We are missing Timonen in a big way right now, he woulda been on Malkin too but oh well, I'm looking forward to game 2 and the Flyers have lost every game 1 so far so I can't be in panic mode quite yet.

Pens up 1-0 after the first. From what it sounded like on the radio (stupid Verses  ), it probably should be 2-0. But that's okay. The Pens have been playing pretty well so far today.
Edit - The Flyers tied it up at ones...
Edit 2 - Hossa scores to make it 2-1, Pittsburgh!
Edit 3 - Philly tied it back up at twos right before the second intermission...come on Pens, lets have a solid third period!

Wow, that definitely should have been a goal. It was plainly obvious that Biron reached back grabbed it away before anyone noticed.
The war room probably only looked at the shot where Biron's glove covered half the puck when it was already over the line and clearly going to roll further in. Should be 2-0.
Oh well, Pens'll probably score in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd anyway. 
Flyer's were running ragged.

Come on Flyers. Just give a strong 3rd period and try to send this series 1-1 to Philly (where the Flyers are 4-1 in the playoffs).

Pens hang on and win 4-2! Max Talbot (returning from a foot injury) scored the game decider and Jordan Staal snagged an empty netter with about 30 seconds left. What an exciting game!

Honestly, though, I would not be surprised to see a split in Philly. I don't think that the Flyers are totally out of it, and they can win a game.
