Should be nice - if I were anywhere near a TV then, I'd definitely be watching. Unfortunately, I'll be camping then so I won't see it. But at least I'll still be having fun

I saw in person, Alfonso Soriano's 6 week trip to the DL  Dempster went the distance in a well played game, but if I believed in the Billy Goat curse, now would be the time to panic

Psh. One player on the DL for six weeks is no reason to panic. Soriano is not irreplaceable. Sure they'll miss his bat, but on the bright side, the ball will be fielded well in left field for six weeks.
Incidentally, I watched the first four innings of the throwback game tonight. What was the little surprise you didn't want to tell me?

LOL! I sort of assumed that when you said it was shot like they did in 1948. It was great though. Weird, though... I felt detached from the game not being able to see the players faces and stuff.

Cubs are up 2-0 in this Crosstown series. They scored 9 runs in one inning with four home runs in that inning alone, two of them by Jim Edmonds, and two of them on back to back pitches. Damn it feels good to be a Cubs fan now.

Go Cubbies! Btw, Ozzie Guillen sucks for talking smack about the Cubs.
Here's what he had to say after the game today:
“He just had a good day. I’m not going to promote the guy who is hitting .218 (actually .238), ” White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said of Edmonds.
“I’d rather have him out there than (injured Alfonso) Soriano. He’s a veteran player and he knows what he’s doing … Hopefully he doesn’t have another game like that against us. Jim doesn’t scare me. I’ll pitch to him anytime.”
