Kyle leading by over 2 seconds and he calls his brakes pathetic. Yeah, way to go pal. Say stupid crap about your teams hard work as you're leading in the biggest motorsport in America.

This selfish brat will get what's coming to him and I can't wait to see it.

^Agree

I was disapointed in that race, everyone said it would be a race that would be exciting and it would be a wreckfest, but honostly it was first time I ever fell asleap during a race. I think that was one of the most boring Nascar race I have ever seen. Congrats to Travis Kvapil and Dave Blaney for top 10 finishes

1 Kyle Busch Leader
2 Jeff Burton -79
3 Dale Earnhardt Jr. -134
4 Denny Hamlin -190
5 Clint Bowyer -200
6 Jimmie Johnson -248
7 Carl Edwards -290
8 Tony Stewart -293
9 Kevin Harvick -294
10 Jeff Gordon -364
11 Greg Biffle -382
12 David Ragan -424

13 Ryan Newman -426
14 Kasey Kahne -426

Darlington was boring. Plus my sister and I had a fight so I couldn't watch it while steamed. I did watch the last few laps simply out of boredom. wasn't really surprised to be honest. If the rest of the season is going to be as boring as Darlingotn and Texas, I might as well just watch the last ten laps. *yawn*

That race didn't live up to all the hype that Speed was giving it when they started their countdown of the event in January. Then again, I never really was a fan of the all-star race anyway. Kind off odd hearing that crappy techno music during the invocation too but that's besides the point.

Oh, and good ol' DW bringing up the fact that he also had Budweiser on his car when he won the Winston over 20 years ago? Who cares? Just you. This guy's ego is dangerously huge. He thinks the sport revolves around him.

Anyway, here's what they need to change for next year, since it seems like the rules change every year anyway.

1. Get rid of that stupid burnout competition. There's a reason only 5 of 43 guys entered it. It's pointless. The cars weren't even set up right for the competition according to the drivers, and the guys in the booth really didn't have a clue what was going on(nothing new though, of course).

2. Concerning the shootout, why would you have the top 2 clinch a spot in the main race? We saw the reason why this rule shouldn't be in place. Sam Hornish was catching Allmendinger fast, but probably backed off to save his car. Um, I thought this was supposed to be a sort of checkers or wreckers night. You should only have the winner of that race locked in. Oh and nice interview with Allmendinger. He said it's like winning the Daytona 500? Yeah, beating the 2nd class drivers of the circuit in a 40 lap dash. We're all impressed. What about when he screwed up and put Sadler in the wall?

3. Tone the big show crap down A LOT. In 5 hours, we saw 140 laps of racing. Cut out the driver intros. Yeah, they say it's about the crew, but they didn't name the crew guys, and the cameras were on the driver anyway. And I think we all know who the drivers are by now.

4. Bring back eliminations in each segment. Guys are just riding around back there. It was much more exciting years ago when guys would fight for the positions that kept them from being eliminated in the race. I know what you're thinking: then there will only be like 5 cars out there at the end. Well, the way these COTs race, it wouldn't even matter.

5. The final segment should not be 25 laps. It should be like a 5 lap dash. And that brings up another complaint: where was the phantom debris caution at the end? nascar has their all-star night and Speed is building it up to be the most epic event since World War II, yet they let it finish out under green with Kahne winning by like 4 seconds? Come on.

Well, I'm going to the Coke 600 next Sunday, and I hope it's a better show than this. I'm looking forward to going back to all of the teams garages more than anything. That, and indoor go-kart racing at The Pit in Mooresville. grin

Well, it seemed that everyone who had led a lot of laps cut their tires at one time or another during the race. Tony Stewart was on his way to winning when he cut a tire; Dale Jr cuts a tire and crashes into the wall but still ends up in 5th because he and Jeff Gordon (who finished 4th) ran 62 laps on one tank of gas. Carl Edwards ran out of gas on the last last and still ended up finishing in 9th place.

It was great to see Kasey Kahne win (even though I am not a fan of him). This win could definitely turn his season around.

I'm so sick of seeing Kyle in Victory Lane. It's almost making me nostalgic for Mr. he who shall remain nameless from last year. tongue

I had a couple friends at the Dover race and they sent pictures of the track back before the big wreck. Then afterwards she sends a text saying that two of her drivers wrecked. That's gotta suck.

Jeff Burton is quietly amassing points I see.

Oh and I won my nascar fantasy pool. grin grin

NASCAR is starting *well, not really starting* to become very boring. And I'm not referring to Busch or Edwards alone competing for wins. I'm talking about the sport itself. Sheesh, can the announcers cover ANY more of Jr. this year???? I mean, the guy hasn't won a race in like two years. Get over it; he obviously doesn't have as much talent as Gordon, Stewart, Busch, or Johnson.

the races are boring because of the new car. And for the record, I hate Goodyear. As tony said, They can't build tires worth crap. At least, at least, at least, Tony and Denny were in one piece last Sunday instead of all torn to pieces like they were at Dover. angry if this is how the rest of the season's going to be, maybe I should quit NASCAR all together, especially if tony has as much bad luck as he's been having. and Busch's problems last weekend; wasnt' really surprised at and he needs to just stick with the Cup or Nationwide series. He's got talent but I think he's spreading himself a bit too thin.

I've been busy lately so I haven't been able to get on, but I had fun in Charlotte for the 600. Free food in our grandstand for 2 hours after the green flag was pretty awesome too. I think I had like 2 hot dogs and 4 burgers. Before the race my brother and sister almost got killed by Richard Petty, who was flying by on his scooter. They had to jump out of the way, no joke. And my brother said the king still had that smile on. Sometimes I think he has a permanent smile on his face like the Joker did in the first Batman movie.

As for the races being boring, it doesn't help that they were at Pocono last week, by far the most boring track on the circuit. Can't wait until they go back there, in what, 2 weeks? The fact that both races(they don't deserve 2) are in the summer is nonsense. It's a real shame the track won't be for sale.
