Herein lies the thread to archive all those incredibly funny sporting moments. Usually this involves somebody being inflicted great pain. But not always. The thread is also good for those one-in-a-million lucky shots/breaks (holes-in-one, winning basketball shots from player's own baseline, impossible catches, end-to-end touchdowns / trys, that sort of thing).

Rivaldo's dive against Turkey in the 1998 World Cup. He was hit on the thigh with the ball, and immediately clutched his face and went down in dramatic fashion. The player who kicked the ball to him (only to return it to Rivaldo) was sent off. It's reprehensible, but it makes me laugh every time I see it.

Along those lines, there was a HR recently (either this past season or the year before, I don't remember) where the outfielder bobbled the ball a bit before knocking it over the wall with his glove. Not quite as funny as the one off Canseco's head, but still funny.
