Got room for another Colts/Peyton Manning fan?
I can't believe it took me this long to find this thread...

Go Colts!
Just went through this thread, and I have to ask, what's everyone's favorite Peyton Manning commercial(so far, out of all the ones he's done)? I'd have to pick the "Cut That Meat" one, my mom and I still like to chant that. Actually, I think everyone does; I read in SI that the year that commercial came out and the Colts played New England, the Patriots defense would start taunting Peyton with it all throughout the game. I'm not a Patriots fan by any means, but that strikes me funny somehow.

It was so nice of the Monday Night crew to make a comment, or two, about the game that they were supposed to be commenting on anyway, with all the New England gushing that they were doing.

Could Peyton be playing any uglier right now? Thank the maker for that defense. And J-dai. Also, how much of a poozer is Tarik Glenn for splitting after he got his ring? He still had a couple of years left, anyway. He could have at least gave them a season or something to replace him. Were they expecting him to retire? I hadn't heard anything about it before he did.

Nothing against Indy, but it's a terrible weather climate for the SB. I thought the NFL learned their lesson the times they had the SB in Detroit and Minny.

The roof will either be opened, or closed, but I'd guess closed. Construction is getting close to being finished.
And the winter weather in Indy isn't as bad as Minnesota and Detroit.

If you prefer, we can just strike that one from the record books.
And I'd rather see the Super Bowl go to some cold-weather cities without domes. Make these teams play in real football weather.

Pfft. That wasn't what I meant!
Plus, if it is in a dome, who cares where it is located? The weather won't be a factor. Now if they're going to play somewhere awesome I suggest Lambeau Field. That'll separate the men from the boys!

But remember, to the NFL and the host city, the SB is not all about the game. It's an entire week of festivities and events. Sure the game is indoors, but in a cold-weather location everything else will have to be as well. People won't be walking around, taking in the other sites the city has to offer, they'll be bundled up fighting each other for cabs to get from facility to another.
Will the RCA Dome be torn down by then?
