The Bengals have also released Henry.
Am I wrong for thinking that Henry could be the first player Goodell places on a "Lifetime suspension" just to make an example?

I don't think he'd go that far, but perhaps another year suspension would be more realistic? Well actually, he could be out of the NFL this season anyway...

Steve McNair has retired.
Brett Farve and Steve McNair as part of the HOF class of 2013.
Baltimore is completely screwed this year. They will be this year's Miami Dolphins.

One out of two isn't bad.
No way McNair goes into the hall. He has 1 MVP award (a co-MVP at that) and 1 SB appearance. That you could let slide if he had HOF calibre stats. He doesn't. Only 31K passing yards. even if you add his rushing yds to it it still less than 40K.
The guy had a good career. The HOF is for people who had great careers.

Per ESPNNews, the Seahawks have gotten rid of Alexander and the Bengals are refusing all trade offers for Chad Johnson.

Good, the Redskins did not need a Terrell Owens like cancer in our lockerroom anyways.

Not saying the Redskins really want Chad Johnson.. but Cincy was stupid to turn it down without at least considering it. There comes a point where a teams refusal to trade is as detrimental to the team as the player's demanding a trade, and the Bengals are approaching that point quickly.

I'm not sure if Washington's offer was the only official offer made, but I know that at the very least other inquires have been made. So, I guess the Bengal organization is being hardheaded, because between Marvin Lewis's stupid comments yesterday, and Chad Johnson's attitude, the Bengals really need to get as much as they can get, while they can get it.

As a Steelers fan, I can only hope the Bengals continue to not trade Johnson and get a nice ransom for him. Even better would be if they hold on to him for too long, and end up getting a haul when they finally trade him that is way below market value.
And this is why the Bengals are the Bengals.

Yeah apparently they told the Cowgirls and the Eaglets the same thing. No Trade.
Oh well Jones is too busy trying to get Pacman reinstated and into Dallas anyways.
Speaking of trade - obstinate teams. Apparently the Cardinals won't trade Bolden either.
