Was just eating dinner at the BJ's Pizza in Huntington Beach and Matt Leinart and his crew came in and sat down in the booth next to us. I think me and my brother were the only people in the entire restaurant who recognized him, which is funny because he would have been recognized by probably everybody as little as two years ago.

In big NFL news... I have NFL Network now that my parents switched to Direct TV. Best. Channel. Ever.

It looks like the Seahawks are going to go with an RB by Committee backfield this season. Finally.
On first and second downs, Halfbacks Julius Jones and Mo Morris will get the carries
On third and fourth down conversions, it will be a mix of HB TJ Duckett, FB Leonard Weaver, and FB Owen Schmitt
It's going to be great to see a back go into the line of scrimmage and actually get some yardage this season.

It's almost a necessity thanks to NFL rules. Some of the Rooney brothers own some tracks, and the NFL has strict rules that you cannot own a team and a betting institution. So, at least those brothers had to sell.
Still, it'll be a sad, sad day if/when the Rooney family no longer owns the Stillers.

Yep, it will be.  I hope that the Rooneys, and by the Rooneys I mean Dan and Art II, keep control. I guess Art (not II...think it was him) is somewhat bitter about being dismissed as director of player personnel after the Chief gave up control in the mid-80s, and could use this opportunity to take some revenge. It he does, he'll earn the wrath of Steelers fans worldwide. This is a family franchise. No offense to Stanley Drunkenmiller, even if you are a native Pittsburgher, you have no business owning the Pittsburgh Steelers.

So I was browsing around online tonight and found this article on espn.com. Based on the consecutive starts number for favre, it looks like the list was made in 2002. I find it funny that these are 10 records that at the time they thought were untouchable, yet two have since been surpassed (most wins by qb, most td passes in a season by a qb), one of them twice!
