I didn't get to watch the Steeler's game this week, but I guess the defense played pretty well - scored two touchdowns in one quarter, first time that the Steelers have done that since 1995.

I am surprised how one sided the Cincy-Chicago game was, though. I thought it would have been closer.

Chicago has placed so much on getting the right QB that they forget that a QB needs to have people to throw to.

i'm not so sure that they even found the right QB. the way it looks right now they made something of a mistake.

No, the issue is that it isn't a QB issue at all. It is a receiver issue and I think how Orton is doing in Denver is proving that. Whoever is in charge of the offense in Chicago needs to give up control to someone who knows what they're doing.

i'm saying in think they made a mistake because i think that orton's the better QB. he doesn't lose the game. cutler... well, his INTs the last few games have looked pretty durned bad, having someone to throw the ball to or not. would some wideouts help things? yea, but they wouldn't fix cutler who had the same problems in broncoland.

The Bears got whipped on all sides of the ball today. Very surprising.

The Colts are off to another 6-0 start, but they have no running attack at all. They need to get the running game rolling, or I smell another 'One and Dungy' in the playoffs.

I don't think I'd go as far as to say Orton is the better QB, but Cutler, for all his physical tools, still hasn't learned how to properly manage a game. You don't blow a division the way his team did last year on accident, you know.

And the Steelers game yesterday was totally awesome. Fumble Return TD, ensuing kickoff return for TD, and a pick-six to seal the deal. Just awesome.

Orton is definitely not better than Cutler... but the difference between them isn't nearly as much as what Chicago gave up along with Orton to get Cutler.

I see Chicago struggling for the next few years, at least.

looking at the stats and watching games i'd take orton in a heartbeat. MENTALLY he's the better QB, and that's what matters a bit more than physically. a good example of this would be aaron brooks. dude was talented and could put up CRAZY numbers at times, but he made some of the most mind boggling mental mistakes/lapses i've ever seen. or need i mention the gross one? same thing, talented but does the EXACT SAME THINGS as cutler, forcing the ball into bad situations. you can't tell me that physical giftedness is all there is. all you gotta do is luck at jamarcus to answer that question.
