***NFL Playoff Pick ‘em Contest!***
Welcome to the first annual NFL Playoff Pick ‘em contest!
I, MASTERPRENN, will be serving as your host.
How it works
Registration will be open for 1 week. Any number of contestants are allowed, but all must be registered by the deadline.
When all NFL Playoff seeding and match ups are announced, the host will post them in the thread.
After this, all contestants will PM their picks for the entire playoffs to the Host- much like the common practice for the NCAA Basketball brackets. Accompanied with the picks, must be a final cumulative score for the Super Bowl (to be used in a tie-breaker). Once the host has received all picks from all contestants (those to come after the playoffs have started are disqualified), he/she will post them in the thread, with their corresponding contestant name.
The host will post the standings after every round, and after the Super Bowl the host will announce the winner.
How do I win?
The winner will be the contestant who picks the entire playoff system correctly. If there is no such contestant, the winner will be the contestant with the most correct picks. In the event of a tie, the contestant with the predicted Super Bowl score (sent in with picks) closest to that of the actual score will become the winner.
What’s in it for me?
Ah yes, the rewards! The winner of this contest will be awarded colors and VIPship for the duration of 1 week!
Losers will not be given game bans, so really, you have nothing to lose!
The Rules:
Please, be civil to one another.
All contestants must be registered by the posted deadline.
All picks must be Pmed to host by posted deadline to be considered valid.
Banter is encouraged! Friendly banter and discussion is a large part of these games. Please, feel free to express your opinion, and discuss it with others…while being respectful of yourself and others.

To register for this game, copy and post your name into the below list, and PM your picks to me after I post the playoff seeds in this thread on Monday. For valid entry into this game, both of the above must be completed by Saturday, Jan. 6, 8:00 A.M. (PST).

Great turnout, thus far! Good show, good show! Glad to see all the faces! You guys can feel free to discuss anything playoff related in this thread as well. It doesn't have to be about your picks. For instance...the Giants won tonight. Pretty much locking them in to the last WC spot in the NFC...unless of course the Packers win and a whole other crapload of teams win or loose...Do you think the Gaints will make it in? Or will the Pack pull it off?

They're gonna be facing chicago's backups so they should win... hopefully new york loses. 
EDIT: I worked tonight and didn't know new york played today. I just checked espn.com and saw that they won. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

There is absolutely no telling with those two teams, as inconsistent they've both been this season. I lean towards the Giants sliding by just barely. If the Bears are really resting starters, it could be an interesting game tonight.
