Well, I was a few minutes late, but I've sent in my list.
Hurt putting UNC at #1, though.
I was tempted to put South Carolina in at 25, because I really think they will surprise some people this year... but I'll wait until after they've played SoCal this Saturday before I do anything like that.

Well, I only had two set of rankings sent in, so I'll post them separate. I figured that with football still going on and the weak schedule at first that I probably wouldn't get that many polls at first. The next ranking poll will be done in two weeks with your PM due no later than Thursday, November 29th by 11:59 P.M. board time to Arena_Power_Rankings.

Yeah, I won't participate in this until later in the season. I don't really pay attention to CBB much at all until at least the Big Ten-ACC Challenge. Still, good to see some early interest anyways. I'll put something about this in the next ATB update.

fairly similar... of course, the difficulty in ranking this early is that I've only seen a handful of teams, and everyone else is really in the same boat.

Since its not really a secret here, and the implied question is why didn't I rank Clemson, I'll answer that.
For starters, I made the poll before Clemson beat Purdue, though I probably should have edited it a bit before sending it (admittedly, I sent it after that) - I think Clemson is on the edge of the top 25 right now, maybe 24 or 25. But until they've proven they can beat good teams this year like they struggled to do so consistently in the last half last season (and really the whole season, given the lack of quality opponents in the nonconference schedule), I'm hesitant to put too much stock in them. I'll get to watch them tomorrow though, when they host USC in the rivalry game. Should be a good test for both teams, USC has some tough losses and needs to bounce back and Clemson still has some proving to do of their own.

We didn't look to sharp against Purdue (a mediocre team) without Mays so i expect a real fight with USc tommorrow and I may even give the edge to Carolina.

well they thought his hip was fractured but it's not but he will still be out for the USC game and the East Carolina game but will be back for the Puerto Rico tournamnet.
