India win by 70-odd runs. Great result for them, although the entire match was great to watch, as has this entire series.

And a Tendulkar century on the first day of Adelaide is pretty impressive... hoping for another India win personally!

lol @ Australia

that opening partnership in the 3rd test looked weak and it was proven to be so.

and an excellent first day for India in the 4th. turned into a great series. just a shame Australia was able to nick that 2nd test.

Slow, but good day of Test Cricket. Whilst the match seems to be heading for a draw, the same could be said for the same match last year against England at the same time.

In other news, Adam Gilchrist has announced his retirement, effective at the end of the one-day series, from all forms of the game. Will be remembered as one of the most brilliant and entertaining batsmen of all time, and for revolutionising the role of the wicketkeeper.

Good day for the Australians, with Clarke and Ponting both scoring hundreds. Apart from Sharma, and to a lesser extent Sehwag, the Indian bowlers weren't very impressive. Looks set to be a draw as long as India bats well.

Ok so the PM's XI played a 50-over match against the Sri-Lankans today. The team had a few notable players, but Noffke probably had the best performance with both bat and ball.
The Aussies batted first and were all out for 152 in 38 overs and the Sri Lankans got the totall with four wickets remaining in 31.5 overs.

And the team for the twenty20 has been announced:
Michael Clarke(VC), Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting (C), Brad Hodge, Andrew Symonds, Michael Hussey, David Hussey, Adam Voges, James Hopes, Brett Lee, Ashley Noffke, Nathan Bracken, Ben Hilfenhaus.

Hayden and Johnson are being rested before the tri-series and poor Stuart Clark has been dropped.

But at least Bracken is in the side. It is a shame he never comes through a register at work, he always goes through self-serve, but he has a bub now so I guess he has no time for us fans wanting to scan his items.

Well it seemed to work for him at the G!

What a spanking, take that India! So aussie only have the 1-dayers to win to complete victory in all 3 formats

I enjoyed seeing Dhoni unleash for the first time this tour, and Ghambir's last 50 was breathtaking. Pity about the 2 washouts, hopefully we'll start to see some results soon.

Dhoni is rubbish, possibly the worst keeper around at the moment, though I'm not sure who England will pull out of the hat to keep for them against NZ.
