Best of all (at least, for SF fans) is that:
1) The Patriots of this decade will never be as great as the Niners of the 80's.
2) Randy Moss will never be mentioned in the same breath as Jerry Rice.
and most of all,
3) Tom Brady will NEVER be as great as Joe Montana. NEVER!

I won't get to see the game until tonight (I taped it, it didn't start until midnight here), but I did a little dance i my living room when I heard the score this morning.
EDIT: And I saw Bellicheck didn't even wait for the final gun. How unbelievably classless.

Don't forget the Browns of the 40's and 50's.
Browns won all 4 AAFC Championships in the 40's.
And in the 50's they won 3.
In 10 years of existence, the Browns reached the title game every year (four in the AAFC, six in the NFL) and won seven of them.

This game is giving me a sinking premonition for the rest of my sports favorites. I'm fully expecting the lakers to beat the Celtics on a game winning trey by Kobe in game seven, followed by Manny overdosing on some bizarre drug that he cooked in his basement, followed by Ortiz suffering a heart attack and admitting he uses HGH, followed by Ellsbury getting traded for Barry Zito or something, and then Faulk, Brown, and Bruschi (My three favorite Patriots players) getting hit by a meteor.
2008 is going to be a bad year.
