So, the age-old question: If you could add a single player to your favorite team(s), who would you add and why?

Let's take the question this way: your team gets to clone another player in the league, and add them to their squad at no salary. This takes away the argument of just taking your biggest rival's best player, because that player would still be on that team (so, for example, the Patriots probably wouldn't want to add Peyton Manning).

I've got three answers ready, and the fourth I'll need to think about for a while.

In football, I've got to add Joshua Cribbs to the Steelers. Not a flashy pick, but it's an area of concern that has been an area of concern for as long as I can remember. Pittsburgh lost a game this year thanks entirely to poor special teams play (the Jets game angry ), and almost lost another (the second Browns game). Poor special teams also cost them a trip to the Super Bowl (first AFC Title game against New England). Cribbs not only provides a home run thread the Stillers haven't had since the days of Rod Woodson, he also provides an ace on coverage, filling two giant needs.

I also considered a top tier defensive tackle or cornerback (like Antonio Cromartie), but in the end decided that a true ace on special teams could mean a swing of 2-3 victories a season, and a swing of 3-10 points in a tight playoff game.

In hockey, I've got to add Sidney Crosby to the Avalance. I've not watched a lot of hockey this year, and so I don't really know what the Avs need, but I'm certain Sidney Crosby would improve every team in the NHL by leaps and bounds. Didn't really consider anyone else here, and didn't really see a need to, either.

In basketball, I'm going with adding Kobe Bryant to the Cavaliers. The thought of LeBron James penetrating the lane, the defense converging on him, and him kicking it out to a wide open Kobe Bryant just gives me chills. I have no doubt Kobe could average 40 points a game (possibly more) and LeBron could average a triple double. I don't think any team in the league could have the manpower to defend both of those guys at the same time.

I also considered Steve Nash (a point guard who can shoot), Dirk Nowitzki (again, LeBron kicking it out to a wide open three is an amazing thought, he's just not quite as clutch as Kobe), and Dwight Howard (those two could literally dominate for 10 years), but in the end I can't see anyone better than Kobe to pair with LeBron.

Still debating on who I'd add to the Indians ... I'll post that later. But I wanna hear your thoughts on my picks, as well as your picks to add to your teams.

Patriots- Patrick Willis, probably. Add some youth add linebacker.

Celtics- Tough. Maybe Chris Paul, he'd be sick running an offense with Ray, KG, and Pierce. On the other hand, I'm pretty comfortable with Rondo running the point right now, and I'd rather upgrade the center. So I'd probably go with Dwight Howard. Good enough to help right now, and hopefully he'd help us through the transition in a couple years when Ray/Pierce/KG start slowing down. He also doesn't really need the ball to make plays. And him and KG would just DOMINATE the glass.

Red Sox- Hanley Ramirez. Definitely. No doubt. Short stop is our weakest position. And while it'd be nice to have a dominant pitcher like Santana, it'd be sick to have Ramirez in there.

SF Giants: I'd rather we just switch entire rosters with another team at this point

Lakers: LeBron, or maybe Nash. Either would make us unbeatable.

Packers: Ladanian Tomlinson. We need a killer RB.
