The curse has to play out in one of two ways:
Either the curse gets transferred to Aaron Rogers, who goes down with a serious injury early in the first game of the season
or
The curse gets executed in their opener during Favre's jersey retirement. He trips and falls and hurts himself, or something happens to the jersey, or something.

Great tribute to Brett, but I'll still be playing NFL 2K5 and Tecmo Super Bowl.
As for curses, none. I think his father dying, home destroyed by Katrina, and his wife getting breast cancer was too much already.

I thought the curse was broken last year with Young on the cover since before Young no team with a Player on the cover had ever made it into the playoffs the year the player was featured?
And not for nothing but the Titans did win a Playoff game last year.
