Well the EUROs are played before the World Cup, since after this it's the European World Cup Qualifying then the World Cup itself in 2010 and then EURO Qualifying for Ukraine/Poland 2012 starts after the World Cup.

The correct answer is that the Euro is played every four years, two years before/after the World Cup, thus always the same year as the Summer Olympics.
