I can hear you wondering who this is? Is it a famous cricketer? A soccer player? Maybe a forgotten Tennis champ? Well, it's none of those people. It happens to be me.

This is hard for me to do, since I do love this place, and I feel great pride in seeing how far we've come since it began at the end of '06, and especially its progression from when I joined the moderating team at the beginning of '07. But, as you may have noticed, my posting has been spasmodic at best over the past couple of months, due in part to university, but also due to an increasing sense that I didn't want to do this anymore. Whilst stepping down means I'm giving up a lot (and I've been a moderator longer than I was a regular user), it's not fair to the forum, the other moderators, and especially to the users, for me to continue when I'm not able or willing to give 100%.

So, to cut a long story short, I'm stepping down. I'd like to thank the other forum moderators, both past and present, for being an excellent influence on the forum and myself, and for just being all around top people. And a big thank you to the guys that make the forum great, which are those of you who post here, whether it be in one thread or a dozen. I've had very few problems from any of you, which has made this feel less like work and a lot of fun, and you even managed to make sports like baseball and American football seem interesting tongue . Keep up the good posting guys.

You'll definitely be seeing me around, especially with Euro 08 and Wimbledon on the horizon, and then the Beijing Olympics. Next year will be exciting with the 2009 Ashes series. And, I might be persuaded to host another poker game in the future.

That's all guys. Kyptastic out peace

Edit. Whilst I still can, I'm going to edit my grammar and spelling mistakes long after the fact tongue

While this decision saddens me, I know you have to do what's in your best interest. If you need to direct your attention on your studies and other things in your life, than you've got to do what's best for you.

I do want to point out to others that may not have been in this forum when it started, that you were one of many key pieces getting this forum on it's feet. Your dedication and the volunteering of your time has been much appreciated Kyp. happy

I was assuming a cricket player.

Sorry to see you go, Kyptastic, you did a great job.

I must say, it's interesting seeing everything from the other side again. I am going through a bit of withdrawal, having lost all my nice buttons tongue
