	I too loved the Duel of the Fates Video that much ! The actual Jedi battle in the film felt spoilt to me intercut with Anakin and Jar Jar, but the duel elements were nice. 	The reason this thread isn't as active as others is mainly because we tend not to dwell on the good points of TPM and discuss them over and over. When there is discussion, we let ourselves be heard.

	well my favorite scene i think is a very popular scene, obi-wan vs darth maul. simply amazing the choreography of that scene. i also love the scene at qui gon's funerla where obi-wan turns to anakin when anakin says what is going to happen to me now. i just love ewan's acting of that part is very suttle but in a way powerful, well at least to me. -----signature----- "You were the Chosen One! 	I could never overcome the sheer brillance or the undeniable legend worthy art that is "The Phantom Menace." The birth chapter of the cult Star Wars Saga, conveys the feeling of introduction in such a way, that it destroys barriers and obtains the achievement of being able to act as a stand alone excellent film in-itself. A film which tells of many lessons, and themes in Myth, and life. The tale where, the only force who can defend a natives world, is the natire themselves. TPM, expresses, the fact that if we overcome our differences, and our backround, and all join forces, that we can do the impossible, and obtain the goals we always dreamed of. That the power to make dreams come true is not through strength or technology, but unity, and friendship. All told in a time period of royal gowns, and placid worlds, of noble knights, and beautiful Queens, of diversity, and royality. The Galaxy at its apex....meanwhile within the shadows of the ignored, lays the Phantom Menace whom plans to purge the Galaxy into evil, and dissent....one step at a time. Hello, fellow TPM Gushers! 	I would like to take this opportunity to resign from my position in the TPM Defense Force. I have given this alot of thought and see it as the best solution if I phase out, if not minimize, my presence in this forum from here out. 	My feelings torward the PT, namely TPM will not change. I feel they are good films overall with a number of flaws. The forum enviroment has become counter-productive for discussion/debate and more torwards negativity IMO, something I wish to distance myself from. I would consider this a leave of absence more so than a final farewell. I will be lurking and post my thoughts when I feel they should be expressed. Keep up the good fight and always have an open mind, in doing so you may find a greater appreciation for your own views.

	Dash, do you really need to resign your possition in the DF in order to take a bit of a break from posting and engage your Lurking Device? I know over the past several months I haven't posted much here on the boards here at TF.N out of just not feeling I had much to contribute at this time. I chose to lurk instead for a while, taking notice of only certain threads and posting little. But I wouldn't resign my position in the Defence Force because even if I opt to go for a time without posting regularly, I still stand for seeing greatness in The Phantom Menace. Of course, if you remain in your resignation, I'll still look forward to reading any posts you might make in the future when you delurk for moments whenever I encounter them. There are many on these boards I'm not too keen to read posts from, you are not such a person. -----signature----- I can now be found here on this message board as "vacantlook."
