Summary: Obi-Wan and a badly injured Anakin must face Palpatine together on Mustafar. Afterward, Anakin struggles with his physical injuries and finds that emotional scars can cut even deeper. Notes: This story runs deeper for me than just Star Wars, though I did write it with a deep feeling for the characters and a strong desire to change their fates. It does contain several underlying issues that are close to my heart, as well as to the characters. Perhaps the greatest lesson of the story is that no one should judge another person until they have literally walked their path. You really never know what you would do until you actually face what they faced. It's a tale of finding courage in the face of adversity, friendship, love and the enduring spirit of hope.
