JalenDaviLady: Perhaps he was mentally shrugging as well. I've never really wrote into Vader's psyche.

But for now, he had to meet his son. That was why the troops had led him away. Away from the darkness of his cell. And the purity of his cellmate.
After all, the Imperials had also captured Princess Leia Organa. She would either be a useful tool in Luke’s corruption, or a mere annoyance to be dealt with.
Meanwhile, General Han Solo inputted the access code for the shield generator.
With a loud hiss, the doors opened. Motioning to the strike team to be careful, Solo strode in with an armful of demo charges.
He had no idea why he felt a sense of dread.
Perhaps it was just a twinge of fear, nothing more. Or perhaps it was a premonition.
Sighing, the Corellian began to set the charges, unaware that the doors had hissed open, and about fifty stormtroopers were charging in.
He found out soon enough.
“Oh. Great.”
So much for the mission…
Droids See-Threepio and Artoo-Detoo were nervously waiting for Han’s expected return. Their hopes were shattered however, when they saw about fifty stormtrooper pouring into the bunker, and the same amount of troops—and their Rebel prisoners—come out.
Now the fate of the Rebellion depended on the Ewok ambush that their furry friends had set. And the droids were the bait.
Threepio mustered all his courage and spoke.

“Excuse me sirs, but were you looking for me and my companion?”
The stormtroopers turned at the sound of his voice.
“It’s those droids we were after four years ago!”
Four troopers rushed to take them.
They were two seconds too slow.
On cue, seven furry Ewoks jumped on the troops, attacking them with clubs and the like.
An Ewok war horn was blown, the sound loud and strong.
Pandemonium ensued.
Literally hundreds of Ewoks rushed the stormtroopers and officers, buying enough time for Han to reach the bunker door.
He tried to input the access code, but was greeted by the worst sound in the world.
An “Access denied” sound.
“No! They must’ve changed the code!”
Grabbing a comlink, Solo shouted, “Artoo! Threepio! We need you over here right away!”
Luke was roughly being led down a narrow hallway, to come face-to-face with his father.
Lord Vader was just as he remembered him: 2 meters tall, and as mericiless as Death itself.
“Troops, bring the Princess here also. Make sure she doesn’t try to escape.”
The stormtroopers acknowledged; in a few minutes Leia was there too.
“What are you here for, father? Going to take us to your master?” Luke asked.
Vader shook his head.
“No. I have…other plans for you two.”

Vader summoned four stormtroopers, who surrounded Luke and Leia.
“Take them to the Executor.”
After a short trip on an Imperial shuttle, brother and sister found themselves within a pitch black room, totally empty save themselves and their father.
It was Leia who spoke first.
“What do you plan to do with us?”
“That is no concern of yours, Organa,” the Dark Lord replied evenly.
Luke gave her a nervous glance. He had a bad feeling about this.
Almost instantly, the twins felt their throats being mildly constricted, enough so that they couldn’t speak, but not enough to kill them.
Vader then closed his eyes, and his particular, and effective, form of torture began.
Mental images of their friends and family flashed through Luke and Leia’s minds.
Images of them in pain, hurt, or dying.
For Luke, it was Owen, Beru, and Biggs; for Leia, Bail Organa.
Leia felt as if she was going to scream, but the Force choke held her in place, forcing her to suffer in silence.
Luke, too, was rendered helpless. Despite the training Yoda had given him, he had never learned how to stop Force chokes.
Indeed, the only thing either of them could do was cry.
What do you think? This scene evil enough for you?

 I've really got a bad feeling about this... The scene of course, not the story.
Yeesh, some dad. In there torturing his kids...  , bad Vader.  Course he only knows about one of them...
The story is excellent.  Can't wait for more.

Back on Endor, Threepio and Artoo carefully made their way to the bunker.
“Why did you call us, General Solo?” Threepio asked.
“The access code’s been changed. Artoo, open the door!”
Beeping a reply, the astromech made his way over to the door.
He inserted his mechanical ‘arm’, and was computing the code—when he was shot by a trooper.
Threepio gasped.
“Artoo! Why did you have to be so brave?”
Great, Han thought. They shot the wrong one.
Frantically, the Corellian turned to the bunker control panel.
“I suppose I can hotwire this thing,” he murmured.
After a minute or so of crossing wires together, Solo thought he had something. There were just two wires left.
“I think I got it! I GOT IT!”
He was wrong.
Another blast door came crashing down.
Utterly frustrated, Han never saw the stormtrooper waiting in the dense foliage—or the blaster bolt that ripped through his chest.

Shot the wrong droid? I always wondered what he was thinking when R2 got shot... I totally agree with you there Han... 3PO is of little use when it comes to breaking into Imperial bunkers... I can just see it...
Han: "Threepio, open the blast doors!"
Threepio: "But, Sir! I'm only programed for eddicate and protocal. It's against my programing!"
Han: "Gah!"
 Did you just kill Han?!
